How Outsyd works.

A practical guide for finding tonight’s move, planning with friends, building your Nightprint, becoming a Beakon, and bringing a venue into the network.

01

Walkthrough

Start with tonight

Open Outsyd, choose the city you are exploring, then choose your language. You can browse first. Creating a richer profile becomes useful when you want your identity, streaks, Nightprint, Circles, and Beakon journey to travel with you.

  1. Set the city you are physically in or want to explore.
  2. Choose a nightlife category and music direction.
  3. Open Tonight and answer the short mood, time, sound, and group prompts.
  4. Review the recommended move, alternatives, and evidence before leaving.
02

Walkthrough

Ask Cyril naturally

Cyril is the nightlife concierge inside Outsyd. Ask the way you would ask a connected friend. Try “Where can I hear Amapiano near me?”, “Give us a safe rooftop for six”, or “What can I do tonight in Bamenda?”

  1. Cyril uses your selected city and language.
  2. When verified live evidence exists, the answer can use it.
  3. When coverage is still growing, Cyril stays honest instead of inventing a crowd.
  4. As venues verify and communities contribute, local answers become richer.
03

Walkthrough

Plan inside Circles

Circles are private realtime spaces for the people involved in a night. Create one, turn on secure sync, then share the private invite. Only members can read its messages or media.

  1. Send text, quick pull up signals, venue cards, and safe arrival updates.
  2. Add a photo up to 8 MB or record a voice note up to 30 seconds.
  3. Translate a message into your selected language while preserving the original.
  4. Report a message or block its sender directly from the conversation.
  5. Private media uses signed access and Circle membership checks.
04

Walkthrough

Show the night as it happens

Night Stories let people contribute real photos from the scene. The goal is current atmosphere, not polished advertising. Controls for visibility, moderation, reporting, and blocking remain part of the experience.

  1. Capture the room, the music, the crowd, or the moment.
  2. Keep another person’s privacy and safety in mind before posting.
  3. Use Ghost mode whenever you do not want location visibility.
  4. Stories and live signals expire so discovery stays about the present.
05

Walkthrough

Reveal your Nightprint

Nightprint turns your nightlife preferences and behavior into a visual identity. It is designed to feel personal, musical, and easy to share.

  1. Open Profile and enter the Nightprint experience.
  2. Reveal your genre, mood, streak, and nights explored.
  3. Choose a story card or an 8 to 12 second vertical video.
  4. Select an original Outsyd Sound, then open the phone share menu.
  5. Share to Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, or WhatsApp and add platform music there if you prefer.
06

Walkthrough

Become a Beakon

A Beakon is a trusted nightlife leader. The path is based on contribution and reliability, not a one time application for a badge.

  1. Build a real profile so people understand your taste and city knowledge.
  2. Share useful recommendations, routes, events, and timely Beacons.
  3. Show consistency through nights explored and streak activity.
  4. Earn community trust through accurate, safe, culturally aware guidance.
  5. As credibility grows, unlock greater visibility and leadership opportunities.
07

Walkthrough

Bring a venue onto Outsyd

A venue can begin as a discovery listing and become more useful when its team joins and verifies ownership. Verification separates official information from community observation.

  1. Find the venue and check whether its public details are accurate.
  2. Use the venue claim path to request operator access.
  3. Provide truthful ownership and business information for review.
  4. Once approved, maintain details, events, offers, and operator tools.
  5. Live status still comes from recent signals. Paying never manufactures a crowd.
08

Walkthrough

Control visibility and safety

Outsyd is built around opt in presence. It should help people find the night without forcing them to broadcast themselves.

  1. Use Ghost mode to hide your identity while your anonymous check-in still improves the venue crowd total.
  2. Choose who can see when you are outside.
  3. Remember that live presence expires.
  4. Use Circle privacy for group planning.
  5. Report harmful content, block accounts, and use safe arrival signals with your people.
09

Walkthrough

Use Outsyd anywhere

Location and language are separate choices. A German speaker in Cameroon can select a Cameroon city, keep German throughout the interface, ask Cyril in German, and translate Circle messages when the group uses another language.

  1. Change city without losing your preferred interface language.
  2. Use local venue discovery and culturally relevant filters.
  3. Translate communication only when you request it.
  4. Expect coverage to deepen as local venues and Beakons join.

What “live” means

Evidence first.

Live means recent opt in activity. A real check-in can improve venue heat whether or not that venue has enrolled. A catalog listing, old post, imported event, or paid placement is not proof that a crowd is present now. Enrollment unlocks operator tools; it never buys crowd truth.

Ready when your night is

Go from “where?”
to “we outside.”
